Hi Oliwia, it’s a pleasure to make you this interview, from Bola-8.es want to thank you this
opportunity.
– Lets start, When did you start to play pool?
I started to play professionally pool at the age of 11 years. But from an early age a pool table stay in my house because my dad practise. So at some point I started to train also.
– What was your first cue?
The first cue was my dads old one and he got it for me 🙂 But when i practis more i had Fury cue.
– Whome bought it to you?
And obviously my father bought it for me.
– Who was the pool player you have ever liked?
The best player for me is Radosław Babica. Maybe i dont like how he play (he is very slowly) but he is the best Polish player and he heve got lots of achieves in Europe and World. But except Poland i like how play Konstantin Stiepanov 🙂
– What was the first trophy or medal you won?
If i good remember it was bronze medal in Regional Grand Prix
– And the first tournament?
It was also Regional Grand Prix. And I remember I won there with president of Polish Pool Association. Was very funny 🙂 I was very small and I won with him 😀
– How many hours do you train each day?
I play about 1 hour a day when is school couse I have got lots of homework and I’m in High School and its hard to practise more. But in holidays I practise about 5 hours a day.
– What kind of training do you do?
I play matches with may father or myself play racks in 8 , 9 and 10 ball. I also practise hard balls what I cant shoot.
– What kind of pool do you prefer?
10 ball 🙂 I think this kind is little time in pool and its something new and I’m not bored of it.
– Do you like Snooker?
Yes i like very much. Lots of time i watch it in TV. I like play snooker but i havent got snooker table in home so i cant practise it.
– You got good results in the European Junior Championships in Luxemburg, what was this experience?
European Junior Championships in Luxemburg got me lots of practise. In my opinion i didnt get goot results there. Before this tournament i hope on gold medal. Couse i didnt play not good. We played on Dynamic tables – are very hard tables and i practise
on Olimpic tables.
– There you met several Spanish players, how about them?
🙂 I think they are very nice people. Lots of time we told together on tournaments. I good remember Silvia Lopez when i lose one ball on 14/1 in European
Championships. This match was very good lesson for me. Spanish players are very
good in pool. I like watch their matches like Francisco Sanchez Ruiz matches.
– Did you think that you could win the World Championships?
My dream was winning the bronze medal. Although my dad always told me to stand
on the gold, but I thought that the girls will be too good. On World Championships
come silver medalist World Chamiponships 2010- Briana Miller and the best girls
from Europe- girls from Russia
– In your opinion, what was the most difficult game in this tournament?
I think tha most difficult game was fina. Was terrible. First i won 4 racks. I thought that is very good and i can win it but then Anastasia won 6 racks. I was very nervous. And this was important moment. It was my break and i made run out. In next Racks
Anastazia made more miss and i won 8:6 . Although i lose next rack i won 9:7.
– What was the first thing you thought when you saw the last ball go?
Last rack was very difficult. But when i shoot 8 ball I went on 9 ball on stright. 9 ball was ver easy for me. I shoot it with the smale 🙂 I knew that I won this tournament.
– What kind of cue case you have?
My case cue is K.F
– What’s in your cue case?
In my cue case are 3 cues ( Predator cue, break cue Kruger and jump cue) two chalks, talk, towel and hair clips 🙂 and sometimes chewing gum 😀
