Hi Jasmin, is a pleasure to can make you this interview for Bola-8.es.
- Lets start!, How old were you when you started to play pool?
At my first attempt I was 3 years old but at the age of 6 I started seriously at the club of my parents. At that age I was finally big enough to play pool and hold the cue properly.
- What was your first cue?
Oh that was a long time ago. It was a cheap cue, I can´t even remember the name. It was nothing special.
- Who bought it to you?
I guess my dad bought me my first cue.
- Do you play Snooker?
Every now and then I play Snooker and I did use Snooker as practice in the past. My trainer and I had a few training sessions on the Snooker table. It was a lot of fun.
- What type of pool do you prefer?

- Empecemos, ¿Cuando empezaste a jugar al billar?
Empecé a jugar profesionalmente al billar a los 11 años. Pero desde una temprana edad tuve una mesa de billar en mi casa, porque mi padre entrenaba. Por lo que en desde momento empecé a entrenar.
- ¿Cual fue tu primer taco?
El primer taco fue uno viejo de mi padre, y el lo compró para mi
pero cuando practiqué más tuve un Fury.
- ¿Quien te lo compró?
Y obviamente me lo compró mi padre.

- Lets start, When did you start to play pool?
I started to play professionally pool at the age of 11 years. But from an early age a pool table stay in my house because my dad practise. So at some point I started to train also.
- What was your first cue?
The first cue was my dads old one and he got it for me
- Whome bought it to you?
And obviously my father bought it for me.

Empecé a jugar al billar a los 14 años, para mi pub local en Manchester. Era Bola 8 Inglés. Luego, con 25 empecé a jugar Bola 9
- Cuando empezaste a jugar al billar, ¿pensaste que podías llegar tan lejos?
Sabía que tenía talento y podía hacer algo grande, pero tienes que poner muchisimo tiempo y esfuerto, porque sólo con talento no es necesario
- ¿Cual fue tu primer taco?
Fué un barracuda, un taco de fresno de 8mm

Hi Karl, is a pleasure to ask you this questions, but beforte you start, I want to thank you give us the possibility to chat with you.
- The first question, When do you start to play pool?
I started to play pool at 14years old for my local pub in Manchester. It was English 8ball. Then at 25 i started playing 9 ball.
- When you started to play pool, Did you think that you will get so far?
I knew i had talent ad could make it big, but you have to put alot of time and effort In as pure talent is not enough.
- What was your first cue?
It was a barracuda 8mm ash cue

1987. My friend Jesse opened up a poolroom two blocks away from my home
- Do you remember what was your first cue?
It was a three cushion cue called Sakura. I thought it was for pool anyways.

I won it in a competition

I was 14 when i started and immediatly i fell in love
- What was your first cue?
I believe that was a buffalo cue.
- Who bought it to you?
My dad bought it for me i believe it was about 120 guilders (50 euro)
- At what age you won your first trophy?
I won the dutch pupil championships 3 months after i hit my first ball
